We are accelerating, while also decelerating - let old information and paradigms fall away, and let in the new ideas, insights, awareness, and views. Margaret Gervais

“Everything in life moves in rhythms. Energy expands and contracts.
The tide of the ocean always goes out, but that doesn't mean it stops being the ocean.
The same is true for the life force that carries you forward in those open, flowing, "everything feels possible" moments. That energy will fade, but it doesn't mean you are on the wrong track. It means that energy is resting, integrating, and gathering itself for its return.
So when the lull comes, and it will come, don't interpret it as a failure, regression, or evidence that your growth wasn't real. That's a mistake far too many people make. They feel the contraction and immediately assume something is wrong, that they've lost their progress, that they were deluding themselves, or need to go back to square one.
But that's not what's happening. What's happening is that the wave of energy is pulling back so it can build again. And this time, when it rises, it will do so with more nuance, maturity, and subtle energy. That's an important distinction to make. Because a big wave rises fast and crashes fast. But a deep, slow rising wave ripples for a long time and carries you much further into the future.
When this starts happening, it means you're getting to the stage where your inner work is becoming less of a practice and more of something you simply are. And from here, the only thing you have to do when the wave falls is remember that it will always rise again.
So if you're resting between waves right now, remember that you're still getting closer to the other shore. Even if you can't feel yourself moving.” Cory Allen. Cory has a wonderful new Book, “The Age of Quiet.”

Announcing The Protocol: 10 Steps to Peace
The Protocol is a 10 step of practice (10-15 minute) for navigating changes/shifts, activity/movements, and dealing with challenging times. This will be a 2 session (one hour each) Course with PDF Outline. In person or on Zoom. To be launched soon.
Many of us have done a lot of spiritual work and have a good set of practices but are still challenged with putting it all together for ourselves to help navigate the shifts and changes. Or we are in the midst of ascending to a new level of operating and could use a routine/ritual be stay grounded, aligned, calm, and ready for whatever is happening or about to happen. Some of us need this routine to awaken, transform, and keep on track. Some of us need it to sleep.
The Protocol is a10 step of spiritual/spiritual practice that can be used any time of day and as many times a day/night as needed. You can do it for ten minutes, 20 or 30 minutes, or longer, based on how long you meditate at the end of the protocol.

You keep showing up for something that is not working. You keep showing up for something that is not working. You keep showing up for something that is not working. You start to see it more clearly. You see your roles and efforts and you see theirs. You see it more clearly. It is not what you thought it would be. It is not that. It is something else. You see it. You know it. You accept it. And you forgive yourself for hanging on. You set them free and you set yourself free. Margaret Gervais
Part of the formula of letting go is moving on. Margaret Gervais
“Question: I’m trying very hard in my practice but don’t seem to be getting anywhere.
Answer: This is very important. Don’t try to get anywhere in the practice. The very desire to be free or to be enlightened will be the desire that prevents your freedom. You can try as hard as you wish, practise ardently night and day, but if it is still with the desire to achieve in mind, you will never find peace. The energy from this desire will be a cause for doubt and restlessness. No matter how long or how hard you practise, wisdom will not arise from desire. So, simply let go. Watch the mind and body mindfully but don’t try to achieve anything. Don’t cling even to the practice of enlightenment.” Ajahn Chah, Questions of monks to their teacher Ajahn Chah on 12 JANUARY 2018.

ASTROLOGY
Pluto, the planet of deep and serious transformation has stopped retrograding (reviewing) and will start to move forward again. This is a time of tremendous change for everyone and the world order. Revolution is taking hold. Waking up is the way. Dramatic changes are coming.
This influences our own chart personally. We will each experience revolution and change. it is worth it; is inevitable upheaval and change. Your response it your choice. Follow me on Bluesky, reread my prior Newsletters, stay tuned, book a session, class or workshop. I want to help and am doing my own deep work to be as steady and helpful as I can.
Also keep in mind that Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are retrograde. And Mercury goes retrograde on October 24. This is a lot of seemingly reversing, rethinking, reviewing energy affecting our psyches ... how to we adjust? How do we adapt? How do we remember and move forward wisely?
“The age of curated spiritual personas is closing.
The cosmos is impatient with our beautiful theories and exquisitely articulated longings.
Neptune and Saturn together in the sign of the warrior demand that we incarnate what we have only imagined. They insist that our visions take on weight and make demands of us. Aries insists on first-person presence, on showing up in the flesh with whatever we've got, even if that feels insufficient.” Bob Brezny

Vast space of awareness
I am vast space of awareness
Am I vast space of awareness?
Open to vast fields of awareness
Be in the esoteric spaces
I am in the in between
I do not know where I land; I know what is
The psyche rests in equilibrium
I am carried through the vortex of awareness.
Rest in the gentleness of not knowing
See through and beyond; and release
Vast space of awareness

HEALING
“You don't need to fix, convince, or manage anyone to feel at peace. What you can do is notice how your energy responds and adjust accordingly. Boundaries aren't about control, they're about self-respect. The more you honor your capacity, the more your life starts to feel calm, clear, and fully your own.” Cory Allen
“So we have to slow down and just be with ourselves, be as ourselves. This means listening to how we are. Nothing else.” James Low
Notice cycles. They are like tides and some are longer and deeper. Something comes up, activates, runs its course, and then dissipates. Cycles. Open, cycle through, recede. Allow this natural process to roll in and out of your life. Margaret Gervais

ENGAGED BUDDHISM
“The hero's journey can't be about conquest or mastery but has to bear the wound of the world in a new way: transmuting private disillusionment into public, embodied compassion.
The old myth is being retired. No more of the lone seeker venturing out, claiming the treasure, and returning triumphant. In its place, a stranger and more demanding initiation emerges: warriors who fight not to win but to learn how to be in love with life. They clear a path that others can actually walk on, not just admire from a distance.
• Our ideals must get robustly practical. Dreams that can't survive contact with the brawl-and-jostle world are being dissolved. Only those visions willing to scuffle and rumble are allowed to go on.
This is a brutal but loving sorting. The cosmos is composting our spiritual escapism to clear the ground for visions that can survive difficult conversations, financial setbacks, and sleepless nights with a sick child. Can our prophecies negotiate, organize, build, and repair?
Our faith has to become less about what we believe and more about what we dare to enact in the face of fear, failure, and futility.
Belief is no longer a noun we possess but a verb we perform. The question shifts from "What's your spiritual path?" to "What does your spiritual path lead you to do on a Tuesday morning when nothing feels meaningful?"

Aries is the sign of beginnings, and what begins now is the long, awkward, exhilarating practice of becoming the people our prophecies have been describing.
Not someday. Not when conditions improve. Now, with this body, in this hour, with whatever fear is currently moving through us.” Bob Brezsny, https://newsletter.freewillastrology.com/p/predicting-the-worlds-
GRIEF
“The experience of grief is deeply personal, and it doesn't do much good to compare your grief to anyone else’s. Grief is uncharted territory so there are no rules or maps for navigating.
“Just as there is no road map for grief, there is no timeline. For you, it will take as long as it takes to reach the place where you are not overwhelmed by grief.”
Grief can take more energy than you will be ready to give it.
The vulnerability of grief is universal.
Loss and grief are part of our shared humanity.
“No one is untouched by the emotional pain that accompanies loss.” Roy Remer
“No one has articulated this more plainly and profoundly than Nick Cave in reflecting on the anniversary of his young son’s death:
I am not saying this just to offer comfort to those who have lost someone, as if to say that in time everything will be all right, because even though it will be, it won’t be. Rather, I am acknowledging that although this day marks the 11th anniversary of the worst day of our lives, it is also a beautiful day, with the sun shining, a child playing, a man enjoying a cigarette, a world quietly waking and moving forward.
This may be the most discomposing aspect of loss — how impartially the world goes on when your world has been shattered. And yet the great paradox is that it is precisely by surrendering to this ongoingness, both dispassionate and rife with wonder, that we are returned to life.” Nick Cave, in reflecting, via The Marginalian.
